Agreed.  When #Musk opens his mouth, $TSLA's stock price usually takes a hit. He may be "brilliant," but he can still behave like a fool.

In my humble opinion, I think it is quite different in this case, as Musk had already taken a stake in $TWTR #Twitter.  In the case of $TSLA #TSLA, it was just one random line.  No matter what naysayers keep on saying, or whether people understand his logic, you have to give someone credit when he/she delivers results, as $TSLA #TSLA just delivered a record quarter.

I don't trust Musk and he's a bit unstable.  Too hard to know if he's serious about all this.  But when he tweeted his intentions  to buy #Twitter, take it private and said sunding was secured, it reminded me that he got into some hot water with the SEC for saying the exact same thing about #Tesla, and it turned out to not be true.  $TWTR $TSLA

The dates are listed. Looks like Tesla was buying Russian alumninum since 2020, and through February 22nd, which was right before the invasion of Ukraine. 

So the REAL queston is, did Tesla suspend the purchases once Russia invaded? Or are they still buying it.  If they did suspend the orders, then it seems like they clearly knew the aluminum was sourced fromi Russia, but that they are abiding by US sanctions.  $TSLA

Right now it's a death spiral because $ARKK is such a large holder of most things it's invested in. ARK attracted way too much money for its "disruptive" strategy because many of these companies don't have huge market caps ($TSLA is an exception). All the buying by the ARK ecosystem drove prices higher but that knife cuts both ways. Faced with redemptions, ARK is forced to sell things to generate cash, which hammers the prices of illiquid securities and triggers...more redemptions. Rinse, repeat. The smart move would have been to close the funds to new investors instead of raising so much new money on the back of her TSLA success. Greed is a sin for a reason and ARK's investors are paying the price for not understanding that.

#Tesla Rival #Nio? I don't think so.  Love $TSLA, but $NIO, not so much.
